But the king tells him he doesn't necessarily desire the throne. All he wants is to make a strong country incapable of being invaded. He then also explains that he won't deny the dragons but that he doesn't desire their power. On the contrary, he doesn't desire the power of the gods. He only desires the power of the people and leaves.
- Kija feels complicated and vexed after this. He asks for Shin-Ah's impression of him, and Shin-aH tells him he didn't get a bad feeling, which is how Kija felt as well. It's frustrating, but he somehow reminded him of the princess... and he's difficult to look away from.
