To the Mods: Kija is a dragon warrior! This mean's within his blood is the blood of the White Dragon God, which grants him some of it's power and divine protection. The nearer he is to the capital the more apparent this is. On the flip side however Kija is prone to illness when far from Hiryuu Castle in his world. It's not that he's automatically sick as a result of being far from it, but his proximity to Kouka has shielded him from illness. So basically it means he hasn't built up an immune system to anything because illness was always repealed. As an example as soon as he left the country in canon he quickly picked up a virus that him and the rest of the dragons all fell ill with. I'm not sure that it makes much of a difference here in game other than the fact that it means he's prone to illness and picking things up quickly. It's not easy to fight off.

If you want to know Kija, all you need to know is that he’s an actual walking reaction.gif. No one is more animated and diverse, switching quickly from one emotion to the next in seconds in reply to those around him. He is incredibly polite and formal, but can become easily flustered, offended, or angry in seconds. In this he is somewhat childish, without the best control of his emotions. Even tears fall easily. He was raised in privilege and has a strong sense of moral beliefs, and is quick to react when those are threatened. His views are deeply seated and he abstains from pursuing things that he believes to be a sin.
While Kija might snipe or be disapproving of another person’s opinion or philosophy on life, he cares very little what a person might think of him for his own. He is stubborn and steadfast in his beliefs, and there is little chance to change his opinion once his mind is set. But so long as someone else doesn’t violate his, and despite being a nag and quick to point out what he might disagree with, he can get along just fine with those who differ from him.
If you want Kija in a nutshell, however, I would peg him as a moe shoujo princess with the fierce heart of a shounen protag. He blushes easy, flusters around women who come on too strong, and avoids marriage even as his village pushes him to take on one or more wives. His heart speeds up, his chest flutters, and his stomach turns to butterflies when faced with affection from someone he cares about. And yet he can’t identify what that feeling is. Talk of anything inappropriate sets him sputtering and he’s liable to avoid a situation if he believes it could lead to that. On the flip side, he loves a good battle, is quick to fight and loves to spar. He feels most alive when able to put his skills and power to use.
At the heart of Kija, however, is his steadfast and dedicated loyalty. He would never betray a friend, and believes strongly in camaraderie and fate. He is honored to serve his master, carries the weight of his predecessors upon his back, and is happiest when able to fulfill the duties he dreamed of as a child. He knows the place he wants to be and doesn’t waver. In fact, he welcomes the challenges that come along with his role as a dragon warrior. He would never abandon a friend and will always do what he believes to be right.
People will always be able to count on Kija to be blindingly optimistic, somewhat naive, overly pure, obnoxiously self-confident and eager, but also trustworthy and a dedicated friend. He never takes anything for granted, never gives up, and constantly works to better improve himself. He lives in the present and will never allow the past to dictate the best person he can be.
Abilities/Skills:
✿ Dragon Sense
Can sense the direction of the other dragons and tell which is which. It is possible to tell if one is affected heavily by drugs or near death. It is possible to mask ones presence as a dragon, but Kija has never shown any interest in trying to do such.
✿ Dragon Claw
Right hand is claw tipped and covered in white scales. When he calls upon the powers of Hakuryuu his hand can expand many times it's normal size, if not the same height as his body and beyond. He uses it as a weapon to defend himself and his companions. It allows him to carry things ten times the normal strength of a man. He can climb, scale buildings, and swing around when needed by it. And at times, his claw can be used in place of shovels and other tools if necessary.
✿ Dragon Spirit Manifestation
Under extreme circumstances the will to protect the red dragon manifests itself in physical form. His body will collapse and from within him the White Dragon will emerge to shield and defend the red dragon. This sort of ability comes with a cost. It takes a great toll on the body and leaves him paralyzed for days and in a weakened state for weeks after. If he were to employ this too often it would shorten his lifespan.
✿ Predecessor Spirits
Is haunted by the vengeful spirits of the thousands of previous Hakuryuu before him. He is completely unaware of the fact however and has tamed them all with his willpower alone and unwillingness to allow their negativity to affect him. Instead of haunt him they support him now due to his strength of character, despite the fact that he is completely unaware of their presence. He has their divine protection and is unable to be possessed due to this fact in canon.
✿ Miscellaneous
Outside of his talents as a dragon, Kija has a few various other skills. He has a little bit of knowledge as to how to ride a horse, although has not really galloped in an open field before. He knows proper etiquette, is well read, and knows most skills that one born to a high ranking noble family would be familiar with.
