day 115, few hours post game.

Leviathan: I am already on my way there now.

[ he'll already be there by the time levi arrives, sitting on a bench by the lake and just staring out onto it. ]

[backstory]

[ Levi will try to hurry since his friend obviously isn't doing the best right now. When he spots him, his feet slow before he moves forward to sit beside him. ]

. . . At least here, it is peaceful.

[puzzlers]

[ nods. ] It's part of the reason I had come here. It's a nice place to just sit... and think. [ he offers levi a small smile that's clearly forced to some degree, because smiling right now is just kind of... hard. ]

It feels like we never catch a break here sometimes. [ he sits back in his seat and looks up to the sky. ] I think most of the rooms didn't have a problem with playing the board game, but our room took a turn and three of us died.

I'm sorry.

[ He had been under the impression it was an annoying but otherwise peaceful game. This is...definitely news to him. His brows knit, and he's quiet for a beat. ]

Putting aside the fact that... obviously, no one would be okay after something like that, are you physically well? And is there anyone who may be in need of healing, still?

[puzzlers]

[ he thought it would be no more than a silly, if not annoying game, but nope! apparently not. ]

We were all revived and fully healed after the game, which is probably why no one was any wiser to it. [ he hangs his head. ] I have never seen Sekhmet like that before and so I just want to tell you to be careful or wary or whatever. N- Not that I think she’d hurt you or anybody on your unit, but the changes in her were... they were honestly pretty scary...

[ This news shocks him. He's stunned silent, eyes widening in alarm. ]

Miss Sekhmet. . . [She is the one responsible for harming him, and others...? It's difficult to imagine. She's frustrated him on a few occasions, but he cares for her, and he's always assumed she wanted nothing but the best for their unit and others, too.

She was one of the people who most harshly criticized his actions with Doodle, after all...]

Yugi.

[He lifts a hand up to his chest and bows slightly.]

I am sincerely sorry that an individual upon my own unit harmed you like that. I had no idea, and it... this troubles me greatly. Not only because I never would have expected such behavior from Sekhmet, but also because you are a dear friend.

[puzzlers]

[ he had been surprised too. yugi had spoken to her on a couple of different occasions and she had always seemed nothing but nice. i- if not a bit shy! but that side of her... it was one he had never seen and never expected. worse yet, is that she seemed to be enjoying what she was putting them all through, which was honestly kind of terrifying. ]

Levi. [ he reaches out to set a hand on his shoulder. ] You don't need to apologize. It's not like you can control the actions of somebody else. [ he tries to give him a small smile, but it's clear he's having trouble keeping it in place. ] You're a dear friend to me too, which is why I wanted to let you know what happened. A- As I said I don't think you'll have to worry about you or your unit, but... keep a close eye on her, please, I- I don't want something like this ever happening again. [ it was... it was bad. ]

[backstory]

[ The fact that it happened at all is too much. He has told him he doesn't need to apologize, but... somehow he feels responsible for SensitIV as a whole, and truly feels he dropped the ball here.

And it's so clear that despite how hard he is trying right now, Yugi isn't alright. ]

I will be careful, and I... I will see what steps we need to take to ensure that something like this never happens again.

[puzzlers]

[ y- yeah. he didn't think a board game would turn into that, but perhaps he should have known better since, back home, card games are dangerous. it's like he can't escape this stuff. ]

[ it's not levi's responsibility to control his entire unit, but he does understand feeling responsible. his name is also attached to sensitiv, and this has the potential to look bad for them as a whole. ]

Levi, I don't think there was much that could be done. We were trapped in a room and playing that stupid game. No one knew something like this was going to happen. As far as I know none of the other games ended this, a- ah, poorly.

[ he gives him a small smile. ] It has been a rough couple of days, er, weeks, yeah, ...

[It always is when a friend is injured. And in a circumstance like this, well... ]

The last few weeks have been. I perhaps added to that, at least with Miss Sunset. I hope that she has been alright.

It doesn't do anybody any good to dwell on certain things here anyway...

But it was somebody new and I unfortunately didn't catch her name. It seems like there are a lot of new hosts popping up. I wonder why. Seems... odd...

Do you think there is some turnover? Or maybe certain hosts are not doing very well...

I'm not sure, but I also wouldn't be surprised.

Are there any who have not made an appearance more recently? That you know of?

I don't think so. It's normally Exael, I feel like, and then there's that host, Left, though he's still on the newer side. But he's hosted two games, I think... then this new girl...

. . . In the end, I suppose the host doesn't matter.
